How I️ Improved My Instagram Strategy in Five Minutes

Social media can be an incredible tool to build your brand and grow your business. The problem is, you need to take the time to post, interact, and stay engaged. With all of your other commitments it is easy to slack off in this area.

After months of spending hours on Instagram for The Scouted Studio and not seeing the best results, I had a friend recommend Tailwind for Instagram.

This is amazing for when we launch a new artist or product and I have to remember to send a newsletter, share a story, post on Instagram, make the work live online, and the list goes on. I try to automate as many of these processes as possible to save me time and to ensure the messaging is consistent and timely.

INCREASED ENGAGEMENT

If I post during the week and I don’t have any specific event or time that I need the post to be shared, I use their Smart Scheduler tool. It picks the best time or times each day to post my photo so that it receives the most engagement. This is extremely helpful for staying relevant and at the top of my client’s feeds.

A study by Tailwind showed that their users could see anywhere from 1.6 to 4.8x more likes on average. Engagement is so important for the algorithm and this tool is a great way to easily see results.

BEAUTIFUL FEED

As artists we are drawn to color. You know those amazing Instagram accounts you follow for no other reason than they just are aesthetically incredible. I FINALLY UNDERSTAND HASHTAGS

I love using their Hashtag Finder to generate the best hashtags. Before this, I never used hashtags, or rarely did. With this tool I have seen way more engagement from people finding my account through hashtags.

Tailwind color codes the hashtags based on that hashtag's number of followers. This allows me to easily spot the best ones to use. Then, I can even save them to a Hashtag List so I can use the lists time and time again.

RESULTS YOU CAN SEE

I immediately saw increase in likes and followers after making the switch. This isn’t a 0-1000 trick, it is simply and easy way to grow an authentic audience of clients and fans.

I get messages all of time saying “I am so glad we found your feed” or “this is just what I was looking for.”
